Spring Herb Soup: Cooking for Wellness at NYU Langone
Try this quick, nutritious one-pot recipe, perfect for spring and summer meals with friends and family. Nurse AnnMarie Dindial of NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn cooks with chef Jeffrey Held in this episode of Cooking for Wellness.
Spring Herb Soup with Fregola and Pancetta
Makes about 4 servings
Ingredients
6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, separated
4 ounces pancetta, finely diced
1 bunch spring onions, sliced; white and green parts separated
2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
½ teaspoon dried red pepper flakes
¾ cup dry white wine
1 ¼ cups fregola sarda, orzo, or Israeli couscous
2 quarts low-sodium chicken broth
3 tablespoons parsley stems, sliced
½ cup spring peas
1 (15.5-ounce) can cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
2 cups baby spinach leaves
1 cup parsley leaves, sliced
¼ cup fresh tarragon leaves, sliced
½ teaspoon cracked black pepper
½ teaspoon salt
Parmesan Reggiano, for garnish
lemon wedges, for garnish
Instructions:
In a sturdy pot or Dutch oven, heat 3 tablespoons olive oil over low to medium heat. Add the pancetta and cook slowly over low to medium heat until all fat is liquified (rendered) and the pancetta begins to lightly crisp. Drain off all of the fat.
Add the remaining 3 tablespoons of olive oil and the spring onions to the pot and sweat until soft. Turn the heat down a little and add the garlic and the red pepper flakes. Deglaze the pot with the wine and reduce until almost dry.
Add the fregola and toast for about 3 minutes. Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add the cook until the fregola is “al dente.” Add the parsley stems, the peas, and the beans, and bring to a boil again. Add the spinach, the parsley and tarragon leaves, and the pepper and salt.
Divide soup among four bowls and garnish with the green parts of the spring onions, Parmesan, and fresh-squeezed lemon.

White vinegar is the best solution for fungal nail infection. I have tried every treatment out there and they're all terrible and a complete waste of money. I saw use of vinegar online, so thought I'd give it a go. My large toe nail was really badly affected. It was thick and brown. I filed down my nail once a week and every day put a few drops of vinegar on it and let it soak in. After about 6 months, my fungal infection is gone and my nail is back to normal. Best thing about this treatment is that it costs less than $1 for a bottle of white vinegar.

I’ve always been a healthy, active person. I don’t take any medications, I eat the best I can, and I walk at least two miles every day. I also get my routine mammogram every year. In November 2019, I went in for my annual screening. Several days later, my doctor called to tell me they’d found a suspicious area, so I needed to go back for a follow-up mammogram and an ultrasound. After that, a biopsy confirmed that I had breast cancer. When I received my diagnosis, my husband and I decided to get a second opinion. I’ve heard good things about Nature Care Health Clinic, which happens to be a well known and certified clinic known for treating various types of chronic diseases and illness such as cancer, diabetes, tuberculosis, lymphoma etc Before this time, i was suppose to undergo Lumpectomy as suggested by my oncologist but he suggested and referred us to Nature Care Health Clinic cause he has had lots of similar cases as regards my diagnosis and most of them came out with positive testimonies. Not withstanding, we contacted the Clinic as He suggested, and we started our treatment with them following their prescriptions accordingly. Few weeks later, I began noticing drastic improvement in my body generally, this natural formula was so effective,It helps in lowering blood pressure and lowering blood glucose levels. Therefore, it is really good for hyperglycemic, Cancer and diabetic people. It also reduces fatigue, etc promotes tissue regeneration and so many other functions. I guarantee you will stand 100% chance to beat your condition. This formula helps to boost your immune system and can eliminate cancer cells from blood cells, it shrinks cancer tumors gradually. Trust me, this is one of the best treatments for cancer and the side effects that come after its treatments. This formula practically beats my thought and perceptions about natural products,I use to be a strong critic of such especially when it comes to chronic illness such as cancer. I am indeed happy that I gave it a shot and I can confidently assure you that a trial will actually convince you. have also recommended their services to many individuals as well and most of them can also testify positively to their services (even if i haven't got feedback from some of them). however i will leave their contact below just in case any one wishes to contact them, I am sure this will absolutely help so many individuals with similar illness you can always reach out to them via email: @ Naturecarehealthclinic@outlook.com

This is amazing. Another innovative possibility to heal such grave injuries will be body parts designed by special 3D-printers. Using your own cultivated cells from the respective parts of the body where the injuries are located. Thus, problems concerning immune system reactions will be avoided. And besides, donors won't be required anymore. For now, it's the best surgery that could possibly have been done and really amazing.

Any Medical Personnel that Diagnosis a Child with ODD Should Loose Their License. ODD is BS Disorder and has NO Business Being in the DSM. ODD is a BS Disorder that Crooked Psychologists and Psychiatrists Give to Children Who Don't Put Up With Tyrants and Who Question "Authority" and Their Rules. Disobeying Tyrants and Questioning "Authority" and Questioning the Rules of "Authority" is in Our DNA as Americans. Children Do Not have ODD. Adults Do Not have ODD. Just Like Everyone Else I Didn’t Have a Problem with ALLEGED "Authority" Figures as a Child; My Problem was: 1) People Getting Into Business that's NONE of Their CONCERN. 2) People who THINK they had Authority over Me. 3) "Authority" Figures who were D1*k heads. 4) BS Rules and Polices. 5) I've Only had an Issue with One Cop as a Child (I Cussed Out the Sheriff of a Small County). Just Like Everyone Else; As an Adult: 1) I Don’t have Problems with Most "Authority" Figures (Like The GM or The DM of the Company I Work For). 2) I Have a Problem with Politicians (Everyone Does). 3) Crooked Cops Who are Not Held Accountable. 4) Unconstitutional Laws and Polices (Including Company Polices). 5) "Authority" Figures who are D1*k heads. 6) People who think they have "Authority" over Me. If You were Diagnosed with ODD (313.81 in the DSM-4) Like I was; Your Diagnosis is BS and If You have the Same Psychologist, Psychiatrist, or Therapist than You SHOULD Find a NEW One. DISOBEDIENCE to Tyrants IS OBEDIENCE to GOD!!!!

Well this doctor needs to be educated in endo… ablation should not be preformed to treat endo, only excision.. ablation causes scare tissue and only make things worse sometimes and hormone therapy does not help endo, it only helps the symptoms sometimes. It’s not a menstruation disease, it’s a whole body disease. She needs to look up information that’s been produced by a specialist. Don’t do ablation!!
